Seems hard to believe that only a few years ago gas prices in the Northern California area was near $1.00. Now we’re just hoping to get it back under $3.00 again. One disadvantage to living in an area where towns can be separated by many miles is the need to add gas expenses into the family budget.

It is interesting to note that gas prices fluctuate greatly from station to station. Sometimes by more than $.30 per gallon, and while one station may be the cheapest one day, sometimes a station just down the street is the cheapest the next.

At a glance you can compare gas stations in your area to find the lowest price and all of the stations are displayed with their address to help you find them easily. When we think of issues at the DMV, we think of long lines and hours of waiting. What many people don’t know of is the many other problems that DMV is part of, problems that they are less than happy to share with us.

Many of these problems are issues we hear of daily, but never link them to the DMV as part of the problem. Such as, how easy it is for a con to get away with Car and Identity theft through the DMV. (more…)

Motorhomes come in three basic classes with a 4th style that didn’t get it’s own class letter. No doubt you have heard of the most common Class A and Class C motorhomes, yes there is also a Class B (also known a conversion van). In addition to the three classes there are the 5 star hotels on wheels more commonly known as bus conversions.

In future articles I’ll go over some of the advantages of each class of motorhome, but for today I’ll be going over some of the basic questions a prospective buyer might have about determining what class a motorhome is.
