2010 Hyundai Sonata
Sonata has been one of the oldest contenders in the line-up of Hyundai in the past couple of decades, and the car gets yet another revamp this year. Yes, we’re eying the launch of the all new 2010 Sonata with absolutely clean style and sizzling exteriors!
There aren’t too many drastic changes in the style of the car, and the overall structure remains pretty much in tact, though you can expect a few additional goodies in the interiors. So, now let us look at all its aspects in detail one after the other.
Looking at the competence of Hyundai this year, the IQS report for the year 2009 suggested that Sonata stands tall at the fourth place, next to the top-notch cars from Lexus, Porsche and the Cadillac.
As it is pretty clear from these stats that Sonata already has a stronghold with high level of popularity in the market, Hyundai isn’t really planning on a total revamp. However, the 2010 Sonata will bring about some innovative design concepts including the centre stack console.
The main attractive technological enhancements in the vehicle include-
• Climate Controls
• Digital clock at the top of center stack
• Advance Audio System
The chances of a GPS navigation system aren’t ruled out, though it is not pretty much on the cards yet. Amongst the latest upgrades, the digital clock will be place on top of the stack, while the climate controls as well as the powerful music system will be observed right below clock. The dashboard will also feature separate gauges for tachometer as well as speedometer giving it a more sporty look.
The 2010 Sonata will be competing with the likes of 2010 Honda Accord, VW Passat, and well as the latest Opel Insignia.
The interiors of the 2010 Sonata are also be far better than the current version, though not too much is clear at this point of time. As far as the exteriors and the overall design are concerned, there won’t be too many changes for sure, because the model has done exceptionally well in the market, and the design has been acclaimed by millions of customers as well as reviewers.

@Matt
Yes, it does seem like they’ve managed to greatly improve their image and quality. I remember the first ones to make it into the US, Impressive would defiantly not have been a word to describe them back then.

We are buying a new Hyundai Sonata GLS in 2010.Does anyone know for sure exactally what the 2010 will look like . I see a lot of “spy photos” but nothing that is sure. It is my understanding that it will have the same body style and body lines as the 2009 Genesis.I really like the lines of the Genasis but it is out of my budget as we intend to oay cash.I have also been told the 2011 Sonata will debut shortly after the 2010 at the Detroit Auto Show. Is this true.
