Celebrating the Marque of Cord and the 50th Anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type as well as a Celebration of Chevrolet’s Centennial sponsored by Folsom Chevrolet..
The 2011 Grand Marshal will be Chris Cord, grandson of Errett Lobban “E. L.” Cord, founder of the Cord Corporation which built the Cord Automobile, the featured marque of the Concours this year.
Jaguar will be on hand to celebrate the 50 Year Anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type with their Jaguar Lounge offering a special cocktail as well as appetizers.
There will be a new addition to the green this year with the Maserati of Sacramento Boutique. With a glass of chilled champagne waiting to greet you as you meander around the all new 2012 Maserati GranTursimo Sport Convertible.
The Concours is so much more than all the fabulous motor cars, even though there will be 200 on display, spanning 100 years…

One of the major car shows is just around the corner. While it isn’t so much a classic car show, it’s one that many car enthusiasts look forward to each year The LA Auto Show!
Debuts and Concept cars
The LA Auto Show showcases the top new cars for the upcoming year and is the show of choice for many of the manufacturers to debut the next years new models, both for North America and the world market. Often they will debut cars that will not be available for a few years.
In addition to the debuts, manufacturers also use the LA Auto Show to show off some of their new concepts. Often these concept cars are the highlights of the show with futuristic designs.
