Online tickets are available now but don’t wait too long. The prices go up just before the auction. You can buy a 1 day pass for any of the 3 days Thurs, Fri, or Sat, or you can get a 3 day pass at a discount. The prices for the 3 day pass is $46.60 for adults, $36.60 for Seniors, Military and students and $26.60 for children 6-12. One day tickets go for $21.55 for an adult, $16.55 for Seniors, Military, and Students and $16.99 for children 6-12.

Auction Catalog

You can also pre-order a catalog of the cars that will be sold at the 2012 Barrett-Jackson auction online. This is a good idea if you are looking to bid on a specific car or even if you are planning on checking out the event on TV and what to get an idea of what day specific cars will be shown. The price for the catalog is $18.99 and if you buy the catalog before Sept 3 it will be shipped by Sept 14, in time to get it to you before the auction.

It might be worth stopping by the resort a day earlier to check out their “Shark Reef” exhibit. Over 2000 marine animals are on display in over 1.6 million gallons of water. Among the marine life to be seen are piranha, a rare golden crocodile, sea turtle, jellyfish, sawfish and giant rays.

They also have a 1.3 million gallon shipwreck exhibit where you can scuba dive with sharks, rays, green sea turtles and sawfish.

The price for the Shark Reef Aquarium is $18.00 for adults and $12.00 for children 5-12.

Automobilia Auctions

The Barrett_Jackson auctions are also a great place to pick up some automobilia to show off in your garage or den? Who wouldn’t want a 1950 Coca-Cola vending machine, a 1950-1960 mobile oil gas pump, or better yet a 1928 Wayne, Polly Gas pump or maybe a 1940’s Phillips 66 neon porcelain “glass Cat-eyes” service station sign. All of these were on the block at the Orange county auction, you’ll have to show up at the Las Vegas auction to see what turns up.
