Honda yet again released another model of the perfect sedan the Civic. The legacy has been kept up and the grace and pride of the civic trademark returns.

The Honda Civic 2009 has been a wonder for the whole automotive market. The designing and detailing of the car has been done so perfectly that one can literally not resist the temptation of getting the car. Now we all know that Honda holds the key to a great car and it has been releasing bit by bit of the ultimate car and supremacy definitely a reflection of the Honda Civic 2009.

The cars details have been changed a lot than the previous models of the Civic. The front fender, which was a very elegant round fender, has been changed to a more retro looking fender. The front side of the car now features air intakes too which have been integrated with a sporty fender to finish the look of the great car.

The Civic now has changed the “Eye” shaped front lights too. Now the front lights of the car look more of what is a katana sword. The light basically is a lamp light shaped accordingly. The rear lights of the car are more like triangles to be exact. The lights have been made up of different lamps which in turn make the look of the car more interesting. Previously the indicating lights of the Honda Civic were placed beside the rear and the front lights. Designers of the car became bored of this trend too so the new Civic now also features indicators integrated in the side mirrors. And believe me they look awesome as anything.

In Europe Honda has released quite a different version of the Honda Civic. The Civic trademark has always featured a hatchback in its models and the Civic released in Europe has been released as a Hatchback. This version of the Honda Civic looks sportier than the other versions.

The European Civic includes 5-doors and has been designed like a coupe car. The rear doors of the vehicle are technically hidden and the Civic looks like a two door car. The rear doors can be opened from the inside of the car which adds up to the look of the car.

The performance of the car has been upgraded too. The previous versions of the Honda Civic had reached the extent of 1.6 L engine only. And as always the engineers at Honda were not pleased with it. So that’s what gave us the all new 1.8 Liter engine ,this engine being more powerful and more agile than the previous versions of the Honda Civic engines.

The engine’s basic type is an SOHC engine. The engine also features the legendary i-VTEC technology of the Honda Company. This formula of the engine allows the Honda civic to produce around 155 units of brake horse power. This is gained when the engine is running at a speed of 6200 RPM. The power of the engine is distributed along the wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission or an optional 5 speed automatic transmission.

Overall when the Honda Civic is analyzed it is very prominent that the Honda Civic is one of the best sedans roaming in the world. The price of the Honda is also very reasonable making it a very good car according to the price to car ratio. Honda has yet again shown its talent to the automotive market!
