Have you ever seen a kid make a car out of legos? Most of us have and for those of you who haven’t, it goes something like this.
The Kid brick by brick makes sure each piece is in exactly the right spot and builds a sleek looking red racecar. He is so proud of what he built. Then, as if it were a real working car he drives it around saying, “Brrrm Brrrm!!” Most of us have seen how much joy that brings the young boy.
Now image YOU are the one building that same sleek looking car, only it is full sized, it goes 0-60 in 3.0 seconds and IT makes the “Brrrm Brrrm!!” sound.
Factory Five
Sound too good to be true? Well it doesn’t have too with Factory Five. I ran across this site while I was on net the other day and it caught my attention to say the lease. This company sells high quality kit cars.
One that caught my eye was Mk3 Roadster which looks almost exactly like a Shelby Cobra. They also sell a ’33 hot rod which looks like a ’33 Ford Coupe, Type 65 Coupe that looks like a Shelby Coupe and few others.

Performance
They can be built to race or be street legal. These are high performance vehicles that compete with the world’s fastest cars. The GTM Supercar tied for 10th place for the world’s fastest accelerating cars at 0-60 in 3.0 seconds.
The price tag for these car kits are not to expensive, the starting price for the least expensive model costs just under $13,000 for the Challenge Car to about $20,000 for the GTM Supercar. The engine, transaxle, wheels and tires are not included in the kit. These kits are designed to be put together by the average Joe with standard tools that just about everyone has and no welding is required.
It is very cool and successful idea, kind of like a very expensive full grown kid’s Lego set.

I think buying these kinds of sports cars are status symbols, if you are rich and have lots of money then you can afford buying these cars.

I have always thought it would be fun to build a kit car.
On the other hand, I have a bad back, and always wonder how I would handle the real back strength needed for lots of the parts, and the torque necessary for completing the job.
So, instead, I build Lego cars and go vrmmm vrmmm

Which one is better ? the red one or the black. I think the red one is better to have on the street.
