What could be better than flying 50,000 feet in the air at Mach 1.72 (1,140 mph) in F-22 Raptor, the US Air Force’s newest jet? Well, not much, but newest Lamborghini, the Lamborghini Reventon, was designed with the thought in mind to make it as close as possible to the Raptor, so you can get the extreme rush of flying while never leaving the ground!

The Reventon’s sleek design and its powerful engine create a smooth ride and sense of style that only Lamborghini can create.

Even the name Reventon came from no ordinary place. The Lamborghini Reventon was named after one of the most famous bulls in history; Reventon was the bull that beat the famed bullfighter Felix Guzman.

Reventon’s engine is based off of the Murciélago with a few twists. This 6.5 liter 12 cylinder enginge produces 650 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque. and goes from 0 to 62 in 3.4 seconds. This aerodynamic work of art is goes from 0 to 62 in 3.4 seconds and capable of speeds up to 340 km/h or 211 mph.

All this talk about how great the Lamborghini Reventon is, makes you want to go out and by one, doesn’t it?. To bad that is a dream that most of us will never get to fulfill. The Reventon is being sold at a price of 1.4 million dollars and even if you have the money it is unlikely that you will get one because the original twenty put on the market are already accounted for. There is however, a rumor that 80 more cars will be sold so get your credit card ready.
