The 2009 Toyota Venza brings about a whole lot of changes, apart from the array of standard features such auto dual zone air conditioning, AM/FM six-disc CD changer, satellite radio capability, rear seat entertainment system, and Bluetooth. It also comes with loads of extra goodies such as a back-up camera, Smart Key System, and a power rear door.
Let us take a look at the other noticeable improvements in the revived 2009 Toyota Venza!
Off-late Toyota has created a fuss about the new 2009 Venza, stating that it is not an SUV, but they’re not sure how to categorize it either, because they claim that it isn’t a hatchback or sedan either.
Well, in reality the 2009 Venza does show some noticeable improvements, but it is not really a drastic revamp by any means. Looking at what the experts have got to say, mostly the reviewers have appreciated the revamped exterior styling, while the rest have agreed to the fact that it definitely looks good in the metal.
Its clean and unassuming looks, as well as “attractive styling” have also been praised to a good extent as well. So, it looks like there’s quite a bit on the offer, but still most of the folks are kind of unmoved, treating the Venza as just another revamped SUV with a good level of styling and comfort.
What’s more, a telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, optitron gauges, electrochromic rearview mirror with compass, a multi-information display, privacy glass, remote keyless entry, and a cool rear wiper, are also on the offer.
Turning the focus towards its tech specs, the car is offered in the front wheel drive version with a Curb Weight of over 3760 lbs. The mileage on the city roads is expected to be around 19 MPG, while Toyota claims that the 2009 Venza will give an astonishing mileage of 26 MPG on highways.
It will produce a throughput of182 Horsepower @ 5800RPM, and a torque of 182 lb-ft @ 4200RPM. The 2009 Venza comes with a larger wheelbase of 109.3 inches, while the length, Width, and Height of the vehicle will be 189.0, 75.0 and 63.4 inches respectively.
Furthermore, Venza comes with dual exhaust tips and happens to be the only model to make use of the standard 20-inch alloy wheels in the V6 line-up of Toyota, as all the other four-cylinder models have been produced with 19-inch alloy wheels till date.
Looking at the pricing part, the 2009 Toyota Venza comes with a base price of $25975, and it goes higher with the extra goodies and the configuration of the vehicle. With the 5passenger seating capacity, goodness of SUVs, design, style and comfort of a sleek Sedan, the 2009 Venza is indeed an interesting deal.
Overall, a good deal for sure, though nothing out of ordinary, as hyped by Toyota in recent times, during its launch!
