Chevrolet announced at the Comic-Con (in San Diego) that they are combining their affection of the cars and films together in the blockbuster movies Transformers. Now, the customers can get their hands on the new Transformers Special Edition of Chevrolet Camaro in the North American streets pretty soon.
The available features in the vehicle include V6 powered engine from the Chevrolet Camaro, XM Satellite Radio, USB connectivity, Bluetooth phone connectivity and the OnStar feature integrated with the Transformers design signs. All these features to the vehicle make the Transformers edition Camaro as an ideal sports car for the 21st century. According to the EPA ratings given to the model, it can achieve 29 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

Transformers’ Global Brand Leader, Samantha Lomow at Hasbro stated that “Hasbro is excited to line up with the Chevrolet and very thrilled to find the Transformers Special Edition of Chevrolet Camaro in the car market produced especially for the fans”. The Chevrolet Camaro model in yellow colour with the black stripes has closely related with the Bumblebee role and become very iconic fit for both the companies.

The hard line styling is unmistakable in the Chevrolet Camaro, and the real fans of the Transformers will find some of the unique features, including some of the understated features in the transformers Special Edition of Chevrolet Camaro.

The Transformers Special Edition of the Chevrolet Camaro released as the 2010 model vehicle has the features like autobot shield embroidered on the center console of the interior region, Transformers logo on the passengers and drivers door sill plates, autobot shield on the passenger and the driver side panels, Transformers logo is implanted on the hood rally stripes, autobot shield on each of the center cap on all the four wheels and the high gloss black center rally stripe package. It also comes included with the package worth of 995 Dollars.

The model comes in SS model as well as the Rally Yellow Transformers Special Edition models. It is expected to be added with the RS package. The V6 powered model uses the 3.6 liter engine along with the variable valve timing feature to optimize fuel economy and performance.

According to the certifications from the SAE, the sports car can deliver up to 227 kilo watts of power and torque of 273 lb ft. The standard on all 3.6 liter engine models is the 6-speed manual transmission. The SS Chevrolet Camaro high performance model is featured with the 6.2 liter V8 powerful engine with the 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. Manual transmitted vehicle comes with the LS3 engine and is paired with TR6060 6-speed transmission.
