Silly goose (people)…. it still takes energy or fuel somewhere to run an air compressor – be it electricity or a gas engine. All that has happened is the trade-off of final propulsion.

The air car is not being produced in India, Tata Motors made an announcement in October of 2008 that they had no production plans for the Air Car. These dates of production that are always mentioned in articles are from press releases issued by MDI. MDI issues the press releases to take advantage of the media’s propensity to publish just about anything to elicit viewers.

I HAVE been following the mdi air car for some years now, but inspite of the advanced development and road worthy certificates, its still not in production. Many licences have been purchased i believe from MDI, BUT again no production. So makes one wonder what the problems are. Here in the uk many can no longer afford to run a car. Petrol and diesel now about £6 a gallon or $10 or £1.38 a litre and still rising. Many can no longer afford to drive to work as its over half there income spent on fuel. What a mess the uk is in with high duty tax on fuel and further compounded with high VAT as well. Nearly £80 to fill my tank, a 2lt diesel citoren berlingo multispace.

Countries around the world should join together to promote saving the Earth from ruin. One solution to this is to stop pollution by having cars that is run by air, water and solar energy. Cars like this Tata Indica should be promoted more.
