The best cars that are roaming in the market are usually custom made. These usually sprout from car enthusiasts which have gone through enough experience that they know what their car should be like. When talking of custom cars it is not like just getting stuff together and putting it on stock vehicles. Custom vehicles are the real deal and believe me when talking of custom vehicles one is really not messing up with you.
When custom vehicles become production vehicles the game gets more interesting. This is due to the manufacturer paying attention to every detail and aspect of the car and that under a professional team. One of the producers of such vehicles is Caterham. Using the idea and concept of Mr. Russell Savoury Caterham has yet launched another of its gems. And the new production of Caterham is known as the Levante. Now for Mr. Russell Savoury , he has been working with bikes and racing for 20 years. He had a connection with cars and the design of cars for16 years. That then led to an obsession and finally the production of the Caterham Levante.

For the car the only words that come out are simple innovation. The design of the car has been kept so simple that one has to rev the engine to prove the point. And once that has been done you can let the onlooker stare at the car for as long as he wants. And no one can resist the utter grace of the Caterham Levante. This is due to the work efficient design of the car which has been integrated with a sporty look making the Levante look as sleek as hell. One of the prominent features of the car is reflected by its body.
Caterham has used carbon fiber for the whole body and when one can easily spot the cross patterns of the carbon fiber used. The extensive use of carbon has allowed the Levante to be super light and precisely speaking just 500 Kgs. When speaking of visuals the use of carbon fiber may limit some customers to paint choices but when speaking of performance part it gives the Caterham one of the best power-to-weight ratios in the world.(Quite handy).
The seats of the Caterham also give the carbon fiber appearance and feature racing seat belts. The belt’s clips and buckles have been also made of carbon fiber which cancels out all the extra mini load of the car leaving it in perfect weight condition. The interior of the Levante contains old school style dials integrated with carbon fiber panels. The racing steering wheel is also one of the points of interest of the car.
The Caterham Levante is powered by a V8 which has been interestingly designed by Mr. Russell too. Now the engine is actually two Yamaha engines combined together strategically improving their performance and presenting the Caterham with over 500 units of horsepower. When talking of performance the 500 kg weight of the Levante proves that the Caterham has a better power-to-weight ratio than a Buggati
The engine has been attached along with a great 6-speed transmission giving the car an 1100 rpm V8 beast to power it. The transmission has been worked on so well that the rev meter doesn’t even drops a 100 rpm during shifting. Now for the complete car one cannot question the great engineering and technology of the Caterham Levante. But there is a filter in this car’s market. It has quite a high price tag but who says technology comes cheap. And the question remains, Are you brave enough to handle it?
